Building Construction                                                                                 Click here to see their finished work

Building construction services oversee contracts of £60,000 up to £2.0 million.  Our main interest is in the commercial sector working for local government departments, the health, educational and territorial army services, although some domestic building projects are undertaken.  We are particularly used by industry in the refurbishment of premises ranging from areas of the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham to local church renovation works.
Within the building construction division there is a small works section for contracts below £60,000. Some work is of the restoration nature but mostly adaptations for the disabled.  Refurbishments and alterations within premises are carried out for local organisations along with general maintenance contracts.  Private domestic work is more frequently carried out by this section which shares trades and labour personnel with the larger division.

The mechanical services, with Corgi Registration, act as sub-contractors to our building construction division.  They also sub-contract for other building contractors and consultants besides taking on their own projects such as boiler replacement in large premises or council house refurbishment schemes where plumbing and heating installations are being updated.

Our fully qualified electrical services division, with NICEIC Registration, have carried out major rewiring and refurbishment work at Nottingham University and local schools.  PAT testing has been undertaken for the National Health Service.  The normal work of the division is to support our building construction section as sub-contractors and also sub-contract for other building contractors and consultants.

  Design Services
We have a developing design service with fully qualified staff to assist our building division.  This has been introduced for the private sector and smaller commercial enterprises where clients require small extensions or alterations to their properties and who are unaware of the current regulations and planning procedures, all of which are dealt with by our staff.
We also have a qualified interior designer in our decorating division - see below.

This is run as a separate company - P Waller (Decorators) Ltd. The majority of the work is contract painting and internal decoration.  Council house internal refurbishment and external decoration account for a high percentage of the work.  The remainder is split between sub contract work for our building construction section and private domestic work.

Our joiners shop has carried out quality joinery work for the Company for many years.  Currently it supports the building division by supplying joinery products from staircases to shelving and carries out alterations as requested from sites.
