Welcome to the new Staff Magazine pages. These, with your help, will
be developed
over the next few months. These pages will replace the
'Employee' pages that
originally filled this slot.
For the moment have a look at the 'Just for Fun' page with Christmas
cartoons. Also
the new page 'That's interesting' with a contribution from
Mick.

The 10 Year Club consists of employees within the Company
who have had at least
10 years continuous service. As a reward social
events are held for this group -
usually a dinner - and often to celebrate a new
member to this group. Wives are
invited on the first occasion. The
events are hosted by the managing director and
his wife and take place two or
three times a year. |

Other social events are organised for departments or
particular groups of workers.
Staff are encouraged to initiate these
events themselves with the backing of senior
management. It is a time for senior
managers to get to know and understand the
thoughts of the workers in an
informal manner. |

September 2007 Peter Mills (Small Works Foreman) to Cathrine Walker (Receptionist).
Both are employees of the Company.
In the evening Small Works Department
members and their partners attended a
reception at the Rolls Royce Social Club. |
