The
'Learning Curve' canopy entrance to the main building of the Kings Meadow
campus of the Nottingham University, formally the Central Television
Studios.
It consists of seven main Glulam (laminated) beams
all of different sizes and set at different angles. |

The
Nottinghamshire Hospice received a grant for this structure, which
consists
of
a sunroom / daycare extension and a therapy suite, for up to 35 patients
per day.
The award was based on the way the structure fitted in with the landscape.
The project was in the same category as the New Art Exchange in Hyson
