Background |
|

Experience over many years has helped the
Company to build on the knowledge and training of its senior workers.
Their skills have been obtained through years of training and work on our sites
and is being passed on to the younger generation.
Many employees have been with the Company
for ten or more years and enjoy a good understanding with the management and
fellow workers. It is a fact worth noting that there are few problems on
our sites and clients are happy for our foremen and workers to proceed with
minimum supervision. |

Current Work Force |

Contract
Building.
|

Currently there are 30
site workers and 3 apprentices under 5 foremen
alongside office based employees at our Bulwell Headquarters in
Nottingham.
Office staff include contract managers, surveyors and
administration staff. |

Decorators. |
|
| |
Currently there are 19
decorator/painters and 2 apprentices working under a supervisor assisted by 4 foremen.
The Company also has its own experienced Interior Designer.

Other Divisions. |
|
| |
Small Works Division:
4 employees with CDM
site safety status and emergency
first-aiders and 1 apprentice. |
|
| |
Electrical Division:
4 qualified electricians of which 2 are qualified for PAT testing
and
2 apprentices. |
|
| |
Plumbing & Heating Division: 5 CORGI registered mechanical engineers assisted by
1 plumber
and 1 apprentice. |

Training |
|
| |
The Company has a training policy in that
about six apprentices are taken on in various skills each year, currently this
has been reduced to six apprentices in total. Each is
assigned to a senior craftsman for the duration of their apprenticeship. One day
a week is allowed for college attendance and block release of up to four weeks
may also take place on full pay. In addition trainees are allowed their
normal paid holiday quota. A basic set of hand tools is provided by the Company.
Power tools are provided when apprentices are qualified. |
